The second shelf · Engineered fractions

Derivatives & engineered fractions.

Our crude butters are the beginning. What follows is what dry fractionation, enzyme-assisted pressing, and a good refinery allow us to do — split a single-origin butter into its hard, structural stearin and its light, pourable olein, or blend three stearins into an engineered CBE that matches your exact melt curve.

Seven derivative SKUs. One engineering service. All enzyme-assisted and solvent-free.

Why engineered fractions

Crude butter is only the start.

Our enzyme-assisted extraction protocol yields 43 to 47 percent crude butter from kokum and mango kernels — well above the 28 to 35 percent industry standard for solvent or conventional mechanical pressing. Cleaner crude with less than one percent free fatty acid gives us three advantages downstream: higher final yield, lower refining cost, and the latitude to dry-fractionate into premium stearin and olein grades without sacrificing margin.

For buyers, this means a single shipment of kokum butter can be specified three ways: refined, stearin-fractionated for chocolate, or olein-fractionated for hair care. We have already engineered the split; you simply choose which half, or which custom blend, lands in your warehouse.

A butter is a starting material, not a finished product.

This second shelf is where our margin lives. Kokum stearin at ₹1,100 to ₹1,500 per kilogram commands two to three times the price of crude kokum butter. Custom CBE blends command a retainer plus a premium kilogram rate. The derivatives portfolio accelerates our path from ₹6 crore B2B revenue in year five to ₹7 to ₹8 crore with no additional capex.
